Terms of Service

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Papernex, Inc.'s Website.

By continuing to use our platform, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you do not agree with (or cannot comply with) Terms, then you may not use the Service, but please let us know by emailing at info@papernex.com so we can try to find a solution. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who wish to access or use our platform.

Communications

By creating an Account on our platform, you agree to subscribe to newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information we may send. However, you may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or by emailing info@papernex.com.

Purchases

If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through Service, you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address, and your shipping information.

You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any Purchase; and that (ii) the information you supply to us is true, correct and complete.

We may employ the use of third party services for the purpose of facilitating payment and the completion of Purchases. By submitting your information, you grant us the right to provide the information to these third parties subject to our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order at any time for reasons including but not limited to: product or service availability, errors in the description or price of the product or service, error in your order or other reasons.

We reserve the right to change the usage limits of a plan (for example, the number of AI requests included per day) or to impose temporary usage restrictions, regardless of what was previously committed at the time of subscription. These changes will be made according to our model capacity to safeguard the interests of all users and to ensure uniform access to the service.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order if fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction is suspected.

Subscriptions

Some parts of Service are billed on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis. Billing cycles are monthly, and the Pro plan is charged in US dollars at the same price in every region.

At the end of each Billing Cycle, your Subscription will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it or Papernex, Inc. cancels it. You may cancel your Subscription renewal either through your online account management page or by contacting Papernex, Inc. customer support team.

A valid payment method accepted by our payment processor, Stripe, is required to process the payment for your subscription. You shall provide Papernex, Inc. with accurate and complete billing information including full name, address, state, zip code, telephone number, and a valid payment method information. By submitting such payment information, you automatically authorize Papernex, Inc. to charge all Subscription fees incurred through your account to any such payment instruments.

Should automatic billing fail to occur for any reason, Papernex, Inc. will issue an electronic invoice indicating that you must proceed manually, within a certain deadline date, with the full payment corresponding to the billing period as indicated on the invoice.

Fee Changes

Papernex, Inc., in its sole discretion and at any time, may modify Subscription fees for the Subscriptions. Any Subscription fee change will become effective at the end of the then-current Billing Cycle.

Your continued use of Service after Subscription fee change comes into effect constitutes your agreement to pay the modified Subscription fee amount.

Promotional Codes

Papernex, Inc. may offer promotional (coupon) codes that give an account a paid plan for a stated time at no charge. A code can be redeemed once per account, may be limited in uses or expire, has no cash value and can't be applied on top of an active paid Subscription. When the promotional period ends, the account returns to the Free plan unless you subscribe. Papernex, Inc. may deactivate a code at any time; plans already granted with it run until they end.

Refund Policy

Subscriptions to Papernex, Inc. are recurring and you will be automatically billed once subscribed until you choose to cancel. You can cancel at any time by logging into your Papernex, Inc. account.

In most cases, payments for Papernex, Inc. subscriptions are not refundable.

If you are looking to downgrade your account before your next payment date, please log in to your account, open your subscription settings and cancel your subscription. Your subscription will no longer renew and you will not be charged again.

If you believe your case warrants a refund due to a bug or error in our product/service, we request that you schedule a call with our support team. During this call, we ask that you provide a demonstration of the issue. This policy allows us to address and resolve any potential errors, ensuring that our products/services remain at the highest standard.

Prohibited Uses

You may use Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with Terms. You agree not to use Service:

  • In any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation.
  • For the purpose of exploiting, harming, or attempting to exploit or harm minors in any way by exposing them to inappropriate content or otherwise.
  • To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material, including any “junk mail”, “chain letter,” “spam,” or any other similar solicitation.
  • To impersonate or attempt to impersonate Company, a Company employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
  • In any way that infringes upon the rights of others, or in any way is illegal, threatening, fraudulent, or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose or activity.
  • To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of Service, or which, as determined by us, may harm or offend Company or users of Service or expose them to liability.

Additionally, you agree not to:

  • Use Service in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair Service or interfere with any other party’s use of Service, including their ability to engage in real time activities through Service.
  • Use any robot, spider, or other automatic device, process, or means to access Service for any purpose, including monitoring or copying any of the material on Service.
  • Use any manual process to monitor or copy any of the material on Service or for any other unauthorized purpose without our prior written consent.
  • Use any device, software, or routine that interferes with the proper working of Service.
  • Introduce any viruses, trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of Service, the server on which Service is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to Service.
  • Attack Service via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack.
  • Take any action that may damage or falsify Company rating.
  • Otherwise attempt to interfere with the proper working of Service.

Fair Usage Policy (FUP)

Papernex, Inc. is committed to providing high-quality, reliable service for all users. We expect all our users to avoid misuse or overuse of our services. Overuse by one user may impact the quality of service for others. Users are encouraged to select plans that align with their professional needs and business size. High-usage users should consider upgrading to a more robust plan or requesting a custom plan.

Exceeding the limits of your plan could lead to restricted or reduced service access, with or without prior warning.

Our system diligently monitors for automated or robotic behavior to maintain service safety and quality. Sharing or reselling login details is not permitted. Each seat is intended for one individual user only, and multiple users sharing one account are not permitted.

Accounts

When you create an account with us, you guarantee that you are above the age of 13, and that the information you provide us is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Inaccurate, incomplete, or obsolete information may result in the immediate termination of your account on Service.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, including but not limited to the restriction of access to your computer and/or account. You agree to accept responsibility for any and all activities or actions that occur under your account and/or password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

You may not use as a username the name of another person or entity or that is not lawfully available for use, a name or trademark that is subject to any rights of another person or entity other than you, without appropriate authorization. You may not use as a username any name that is offensive, vulgar or obscene.

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in our sole discretion.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of Terms.

If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using Service, delete your account yourself in the app (Settings → My account → Delete account), which also cancels your subscription without a refund for the current period, or ask us to delete your account and its content by emailing info@papernex.com.

Deleting your account can't be undone. It also deletes the workspaces only you own, for their other members too, and removes you from the others; what you contributed to workspaces owned by others stays there, shown as written by "Deleted user". We keep a limited record of the deletion for 2 years, as our Privacy Policy explains.
